About Us
Scott Cahill, Jr.
Scott Cahill, Jr. was already a successful entrepreneur before launching FinSec Life. Defined by his faith, ethics, and strength of character, Scott supports every client with integrated, personalized, and comprehensive financial services.
After receiving his Master’s in Business Administration, Scott went on to build and acquire several successful food service franchises. He learned the value of serving customers well and creating an atmosphere for everyone, both customers and staff members, to enjoy. After exiting the food service businesses, Scott focused his attention on solving more complex cases in the life insurance industry, following his father and grandfather’s successful careers in advanced planning strategies. Being a business owner himself, he now works with business owners to bring solutions, using the many advantages of life insurance, whether it is business building or business succession.
Scott serves in various capacities with his local church including youth ministry, local and global missions and evangelical outreaches. With the same mission and passion, he also dedicates his spare time to help local candidates, running for various offices at the local, state and national level, get elected.
Scott has competed in multiple triathlons, marathons, and half marathons.

Drew Hallberg
Managing Director
Prior to partnering in FinSec Life, Drew Hallberg had a successful 16-year career in the office products and furniture business. His background in acquiring, operating, and selling family businesses has given him a unique window into how to serve corporate clients in the areas of business succession and executive compensation. He is passionate about people and using creativity to offer personalized solutions to both corporate and individual clients.
As the former Vice President of America’s Office Source (AOS), Drew led the sales team and helped drive the strategic initiatives of the company. During his tenure, the company grew each year to strategically position AOS for acquisition by Office Depot.
After assisting with the integration of AOS into the Office Depot Federation Strategy, Drew was able to leverage his experience to help found FinSec Life. FinSec was created to focus on strategies that help our clients realize their objectives for their family and business.
Drew lives in Maitland with his wife Carey and three children. Drew & Carey have served in many Christian Ministries around Orlando and continue to support ministries that are dear to their family. Drew is passionate about the outdoors and is an avid hunter and shooter. In his youth, he enjoyed competitive wakeboarding, snowboarding, and dirt biking. G. Scott Cahill, Sr.
CLU®
As a senior advisor at FinSec Life, G. Scott Cahill, Sr. devotes his time to ensuring that families keep their businesses where they belong…in the family. Relying on experience gained over the last 40+ years in the executive benefits and life insurance profession, Scott consults alongside the other FinSec Life advisors and consultants.
“My purpose,” said Scott, “is to assist medium to large family businesses with the various challenges of ownership succession. Closely held businesses face unique liquidity and leadership challenges when passing financial responsibilities from generation to the next generation. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, I learned the values and principles required for managing wealth and generosity from a generational perspective.”
In 1988, Scott joined the Orlando, Florida executive benefits firm, James B. Greene & Associates. He worked at the firm until the CEO’s passing later that year. He then bought and managed the firm while serving its clients, many of whom are still wonderful clients to this day.
In 2007, Scott co-founded Fulcrum Partners, LLC., a fully independent Executive Benefits consulting and brokerage firm. Over the next 13 years, he co-led Fulcrum Partners to become one of the country’s largest and most respected executive benefit consulting firms.
In 2020, Fulcrum Partners was strategically acquired and integrated into a large multiline insurance brokerage and consulting company. Over the next three years, Scott worked closely with his clients and succession team to facilitate a smooth transition. “Now,” says Scott, “I am off to the next chapter, serving families and their businesses with the talented team at FinSec Life.”
Outside of work, much of Scott’s time is spent at the beach with his family or on the ski slopes. Scott and his wife, Joanie, also invest their time with several ministries, such as Nations Church, Christ for all Nations, First Baptist Church of Orlando, and several others. Scott currently serves as board chair and advisor to the Luis Palau Association. Joanie has been in a leadership role for one of the Central Florida Bible Study Fellowship groups for the last 25 years.
